What a time it was!

What a time it was!what a time

Were you with us this year?  What did you think about the conference?  On August 4th, over 100 of us joined together to hear great speakers, learn new insights, connect with others, and find out how to open closed minds.  This year’s Sexuality and Aging Training Institute at the Woodhull Sexual Freedom Summit was even better than last year!

We promised you the most recent data, a joyful learning environment, and up to 6 CE credits — and we delivered.  Evaluations of each of the workshops and plenaries were very positive and we are compiling them now as feedback to each of our presenters.

We want to thank our co-chairs, Drs. Ashley Mader and Jane Fleishman (seen sitting with one of our beloved keynote speakers, Mandy Carter) for all of their tireless efforts in leading this effort.  Our presenters, leaders, and planning team — Linda Amendt, Malcolm Bonner, Tom Callahan, Mandy Carter, Melanie Davis, Paul DelPonte, Jane Fleishman, Robin Goldberg-Glen, Roberta Green, Dick Keiser, Cydne Kimbrough, Molly Leach, Ashley Mader, Erik Pierce, Joan Price, Katelyn Regan, Jessica Sanchez, Virginia Smith, Walker Thornton, Jay Wexler, Christoph White, and Frank Worts – deserve a huge thanks for a job well done.  We couldn’t have done it all without Ricci Joy Levy, Mandy Farsace, Elizabeth Wood, and the entire Woodhull board and incomparable volunteers.  Most importantly, we want to thank you for your participation throughout the year with the Sexuality and Aging Consortium.  We couldn’t do this work without you!

We’d love to hear from you.  Let us know your thoughts.  Engage with us on Facebook.  Follow us and get involved in the conversation.  Engaging with us can help you in your work – and it’s fun!  We’d love to hear what you have to say.  You can also email us at SAConsortium@widener.edu.
