Save the Date: Sexuality & Aging Conference 9-14-12

Put September 14 and 15 in your calendar now for the Consortium’s 2nd annual Sexuality and Aging Conference. Conference Chair Ashley Mader, LSW, MEd, has announced this year’s theme, “A Holistic Approach to Sexuality and Aging,” and promises you’ll have many opportunities to earn professional development credits!

  • Friday will feature a day packed with workshops kicked off by a keynote address from Dennis Dailey, PhD, originator of the Circles Model of sexuality. The model was first published in a book about aging.
  • Saturday will be our second SilverSAR(tm) sexual attitude reassessment for professionals working with adults in mid- and later age. The 2011 event got rave reviews!

This is a terrific learning and networking opportunity for social workers, CCRC administrators and staff, sexuality educators, sex therapists, nurses, and other professionals and students.
